As Ontario emerges from year two of the pandemic, nonprofits are also facing inflation, staffing crises and global uncertainties. As a sector, we need responsive and future-forward policy solutions and supports to bolster our organizations and the communities we serve.

Data is key! Robust 2022 sector data can guide all levels of government on policy decisions to support the sector’s work for thriving communities. In a provincial election year, we have a critical window of opportunity to inform the next government’s actions to work alongside and support our 58,000 organizations.

The survey will gather information on impacts on staffing and volunteers, financial health, and the extent of increased or changed demand on organizations. Data-informed evidence will further enable your planning and policy work, along with coordinated approaches to collaborate, advocate, and shape the future of the sector, together.

The survey is open to all nonprofits, charities, and grassroots groups in Ontario with a mission to serve a public benefit. This includes volunteer-run organizations, nonprofit social enterprises, and nonprofit co-operatives.

Data is valuable from every organization, regardless of pandemic impacts. Your organization’s perspective will add depth and scope to the provincial picture of Ontario’s nonprofit sector in 2022.
