Environmental Sustainability and Behavioral Science: Meta-Analysis of Pro-Environmental Behavior Experiments

To provide practitioners useful information about how to promote pro-environmental behavior (PEB), a meta-analysis was performed on 87 published reports containing 253 experimental treatments that measured an observed behavioral outcome. Effective combinations of treatments and behaviors make it easy to recycle, set goals for conserving gasoline, and model energy conservation.
